Idaho Home Care Compliance

All six compliance areas for Idaho home care agencies, each cited to official sources.

Last reviewed: July 24, 2026
Idaho at a glance Idaho is now one of the least-regulated home care states: non-medical home care has never been licensed, and as of July 1, 2025 the Streamlined Facilities Licensing and Inspection Act eliminated state licensure for Medicare-certified home health agencies. Idaho follows the federal floor: $7.25 minimum wage, FLSA-only overtime, no paid sick leave, and state law preempts local minimum wages.
