Kentucky at a glance Kentucky licenses skilled home health agencies (with CON) through the Cabinet for Health and Family Services and certifies non-medical Personal Services Agencies. Kentucky's minimum wage is $7.25, but the state adds a seventh-day overtime rule: employees who work all seven days of a workweek get 1.5x on the seventh day. No paid sick leave law, and local minimum wages are preempted.
