Missouri at a glance Missouri licenses only skilled home health agencies (two skilled services required); private-pay non-medical in-home care needs no license, though Medicaid in-home services providers contract with the state. Missouri's minimum wage hit $15.00 on January 1, 2026 under Proposition A — but the legislature repealed Prop A's paid sick leave mandate effective August 28, 2025, so there is no sick leave requirement. State overtime mirrors 1.5x over 40.
