No. Vitable’s Direct Primary Care is a subscription-style membership that operates outside of traditional insurance. Employers pay a flat monthly fee per employee, and employees (and their dependents) get access to care at no additional cost—unless optional premium services are added.

While not insurance, Vitable’s DPC pairs seamlessly with traditional insurance plans and HRAs.

Absolutely. Vitable’s DPC is designed to integrate with your existing benefits—whether you're offering a group health plan, MEC, MVP, ICHRA, or QSEHRA. And starting in 2026, DPC will also qualify as a covered expense for health savings accounts (HSAs).

Not on its own. While DPC provides essential everyday care, it does not meet ACA compliance requirements by itself. However, when paired with a Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) plan, it becomes part of a compliant and cost-effective solution.
